I think some people would take some sort of sick pleasure out of hurting somebody by breaking up with them, I see no reason why they wouldnt, lot of evil people in the world

absolutely not.
if things aren't working out for whatever reason, there is a good chance i would be heartbroken too.
depending on the peple involved, it can be just as painful on both sides of it.
