venere08: I can fully understand your hesitation in asking such information from your new date!

And it wouldn't do to say you would like to give it a try, either. A real dilemma. Stick with google!!!

Mind you, it would help move things along a bit, maybe skip a few steps, or two, or three.....

It certainly would!! rolling on the floor laughing

Honestly, I asked him the other night how long his knife was. He chuckled & replied, "Well, I haven't gotten any complaints yet!" rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing grin blushing

You didn't! jaw drop Ooh, you ARE naughty! And straight to the point, so to speak! laugh

I take it back. Volunteering to 'give it a try' would now sound rather tame in comparison!!!help

venere08: What is a didgeridoo? My dear sweetowen. It is a long instrument which one sucks and blows at the same time. Gee, this isn't coming out right Errr, it's an aboriginal musical instrument. Ask your Australian gentleman to buy you an aboriginal music CD. In the meantime, google it for some info on it.

It takes a lot of skill to learn to suck and blow at the same time. Ye gads, here I go again!

Marry me, right now. rolling on the floor laughing tongue Just kiddin', but I do love them Australian accents. grin

venere08: Well, FM has made it clear that "Aussie mateship" is worth neither considering nor commenting upon

In that case, you keep your bulgarian yoghurt, not that there's anything wrong with it...

See if us Aussies care!!!

Mateship is very important (whatever it is) I think it comes in under "other" in the poll. professor

Mateship? Well, one could write a term paper on the topic but suffice to Australia, just about everyone is a candidate to become a 'mate'. No, not THAT kind of matescold . But the kind that will stick with you through thick and thin, and whether you like Bulgarian yoghurt or not!!! There is no discrimination.professor

And you REALLY know you are regarded as a 'mate', when one day, your name sounds strangely different...

For example, I would no longer be called 'venere', but rather, 'venners', 'sxc666', because of the 'triple' 6, would most likely be called 'trippers', and Darkhorseman, probably 'Darkie', or 'Darks'. Jimmy Barnes, the singer, becomes "Barnsie".

And you, Fallingman, would probalby be endearingly addressed as "Fallers', or 'Fallsy", even "Mano".

And once the name change has occurred, well, you can no longer ever do any wrong. Someone will always come to your rescue. dunno After all, that's what mates are for!!! laugh

I hope I have been able to shed some light on this topic. thumbs up
