ChasingCars: Why do you want to know?
I dont...it was a rhetorical question.
There seems to be a recent trend on here to belittle new members, especially if their written English is perhaps not too good. It's a shame really, I'm sure many are put off and leave straight away...and who can blame them.

And where did I belittle the OP's English? And has he complained? It's possible he has a SOH and saw my postings for what they were - light humour. He stated what he wanted - a woman. If I'd wanted to belittle the OP I'd have used more sophisticated language and something less patently obvious.

A rhetorical question would have been better addressed to the whole forum or posting. You made a specific posting addressed at me. It wasn't a question of style either, but a concise accusation that I had ridiculed the OP.

ChasingCars: OP my friend has just seen your photograph and is very excited at the prospect of meeting you. He would like to rendezvous at kéivi! the well known gay club just behind Shibuya Station on Sunday afternoon. He says he will be wearing a dark blue Hawaiian shirt with matching eye shadow. What will you be wearing?
You are implying that the person who started this thread is gay, and have done in a couple of posts on this thread.
And not all people will take that as a sense of humour.
Maybe it is you yourself CC that is actually looking for one up the jacksey.
bodleing: You were taking the piss fella and you know it.
I just read the forum rules. I don't think there's any thing that precludes humour. As for specifically taking the rise out if the OP. Nope I consistently take the rise where I can. Malace against the OP is not a very nice accusation to make. What would my motivation be?

Are you or have you ever been a teacher?[/quote]
Yes, I'm a climbing instructor and I know how to build someones confidence up. I also know how easy it is to do the opposite.
If you had made one flippant post, that could have been seen as just a bit of fun, it was more the way you kept banging on about it that I thought was a bit out of order.
gardenhackle: Divorced is also "separated", so to speak. And unless someone is looking for marriage immediately, separated but mentally healthy isn't a bad starting point. Divorced or unmarried also work, but would be more desirable for someone that was wanted the 2nd date to be in formal attire exchanging vows.
No, DIVORCED is DIVORCED and SEPARATED is SEPARATED. They are not the same.
In any case, I explained to the OP not to limit himself to separated women only because he will not be able to marry a woman who is separated but legally married.
He says he is looking for marriage and someone just separated may not be looking for to get into a relationship because they are still sorting things out. Read the posts, how many women responded to him saying they are separated and interested????
He has clarified matters, that he meant a MATURE woman, he didn't talk about the mental status of the woman.

Separated being you have not severed the marriage completely, especially in the eyes of the law.
