As a Muslim I find it extremely offensive but I would feel that way about anyone burning the Bible as well. Not all of us are lunatics and the Quran does not teach hatred or war. Jihad is only for oppression of your religion, e.g. not allowing people to go to a Mosque and practise their own faith. You can offend Jews if you like. You can burn the Torah if you like. There are no laws about that. The skinheads are not being prosecuted for what they say.
What you cannot do is deny the Holocost. That is a different story, but I disagree with that law because that is an infringement on freedom of speech. It is one step short of being punished for denying the existence of god.
At the same time, who is prosecuting the muslims who put out fatwas like that on Rushdie.
