ladyneda: Actually I don't know these feet/inches measures and have to search for a converter on the internet when I need to discover the right meaning. I guess 164cm is something like 5feet 4,5 inches or something similar.

estate: Yeah, longer in body. Helped when I fought, low centre of grav. More difficult to punch downwards!!
PS. My daughter has learned martial arts. Tall blokes have laughed at her determination, right up until they realised that her strike was groin height.

Was Kung Fu I did, hated fighting wee guys!! They were only good for a head kick, but they always got you with 4 punches to the mid rift before the kick landed!!!

Yes Kung Fu is better for small men and women. Meg did Tai Kwon Do, which suits a long reach. She has very long arms and legs for her height, but she still would have been better off with Lau Gar.

My best friend is 6' in her boots. Its great because I'm shy and I can hide behind her at social events and she doesn't mind a bit!
