The whole history of the world is summed up in the fact that, when nations are strong, they are not always just, and when they wish to be just, they are no longer strong.” Winston Churchill quotes (British Orator, Author and Prime Minister during World War II. 1874-1965)

I'll vote for President Dwight Eisenhower's 1961 Farewell Address in which he tried (vainly) to warn not only Americans, but the world about the comming dangers of the "military-industrial complex". Virtually no one seems to have listened. If more had, perhaps our world really would be a far different thing than a world of perpetual conflict, war and manufactured plagues.

Honestly, I say they are just as good as the other to be honest. Each speech for it's time meant something different. Their speeches influnenced not only the society in which they were spoken, but many afterwords as well.
Each spoke of something different, spoke of a movement, spoke of a dream.
I personally just couldn't pick one over another simply because, they are all profound in their own ways and have been tested by time.
History is a guide to navigation in perilous times. History is who we are and why we are the way we are.” David C. McCullough quotes (American author b.1933)

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things. But for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”
