Ya'll probabley come in a close second if not tie to Australia.. although lately I am not happy with how Australia is going. If I could live in BC I would give serious consideration to your 4th option ..lol

I just moved to Ontario from B.C. Story of my life.
I am not sure if it can be defined as "the best country" I have been into Canada 4 times in my life. 3 as an adult. 1st time as an adult was driving semi truck, it was an ok experience.
The next 2 times were good once I was granted entry into the country. For some reason the Immigration officials gave me a hard time before entering.
I would like to go again and see more of Canada. I have pretty much been limited to BC before.

paws4: Been to the Garden State, despite what New Yorkers say, it's a great state.
Thank you so much. There is always a beam of light on every prt of the world. People choose to ignore some are there. They do not call it the garden state for nothing. Sorry about the French Canadian crack. I had a few bad run ins with them. But I guess a bad run in cannot skew judgments. Cheers
My mother was Canadian, does that count? We drove from Southern California to Prince Rupert, B.C. After arriving at Prince Rubert, we caught a ferry to my mothers childhood home, Wrangle Island. The people were wonderful and the country, beautiful.

I know New Jersey well. Much of the shoreline and estuaries (marshes) are breathtaking, and area up by the Delaware Water Gap lovely also
French Canadians typically do not care much for Americans sorry to say. Though when I got out into the countryside away from Montreal that was less the case. They were very warm hearted. It helps to speak a bit of French - at least try - then we don't look like spoiled Americans who think the world has to bend to us. And change your money before you go. the shopkeepers & waiters appreciate it

Hi Felix...yes i agree...if one doesn't try to speak French then the French Canadians will ignore you. But if you try they are very nice. I love Quebec city. Beautiful place.
Canada is beautiful. I just haven't seen enough of it. I have seen so many films, and love the stories of Jack London - just makes me yearn to see Canada and alaska (which is the USA). But no, not as a tourist. In the film about the Geese who were trained to fly (jeff daniels) - the scenery in that was beautiful

Oh! Christmas1!! Funny you should mention it. One of my biggest regrets, honestly honestly, is that I didn't get to Quebec City when I was in Montreal. So silly of me! But I was much younger at the time and thought there would be infinite time for everything
