probably the worst acceleration of this for america was during the clinton(yes dude democratic), years with larry summers as his treasury secretary championing the repeal of the glass-steagall act that allowed commercial banks to get into the morgtaged backed securities and collateralized debt, obligation game.and if that wasnt enough lets throw in summers direction and support for the other ruinous financial ticking time bomb dubbed the commodity futures modernization act that allowed financial derivatives to be traded without any oversight and regulation(most damaging and glaring example of the harm done here think foreclosure crisis).a summers quote:"the parties to these kind of contracts,"he said,"are largely sophisticated financial institutions that would appear to be eminently capable of protecting themselves against fraud and counter party insolvencies and most which are already subject to basic safety and soundness regulation under existing banking and security laws."yes they were good at protecting(hiding),fraud too bad they didnt worry about it when they employed fraud on tens of thousands of homeowners, states (millions upon millions of recording fee$ per state, revenue the states seriously need),and most brazen of all upon the judiciary throughout the unitied states.every fraudulent document filed in a court is a felony.and here we have no one being held criminally responsible.must be all that money they donate(pay),to our esteemed members of congress and the executive post of presidency and at the state level.we all are collectively in and witnessing the most massive fraud ever in the history of mankind the failed argument of proving intent for fraud is an insult to every individual american out there.who benefits ? intent-the ceos of the banking establishments cook the books show massive profits and get that obscene bonus. as william black said the best way to rob a bank is to run one.theres big trouble ahead bigger than most can or want to willfully acknowledge.the banks for the most part are largely insolvent as professer adam leviton stated during senate hearings on the foreclosure crisis.no matter what the federal reserve does (which by the way dude the federal reserve is no more federal than federal express),with their 'quanititive easing,' their keynesian,bernanke-monetarist economics will avoid the inevitable economic crisis'.the economy is not improving but being propped up by the fed and that wont last forever.its going to happen.all the kings horses and all the kings men will never put humpty dumpty back together again ...( by the way dude ben bernanke is a bush era holdover obama dutifully employed you getting a little bit of the picture now?)dems?repubs all the same.look for austerity in a town near you soon.its already being implemented with more to come. tell me how do the bankers in government positions(obamas administration having the most extreme wall street influence than any other) that direct policy police themselves especially when its in their best interests to deregulate, never regulate, and fight against any regulation that would impede thier personal wealth and that of their 1% fraternity?
