Media are comparing the coming Obama ulogy of the Tuscon tragedy to Lincoln's Gettysberg address. That it is a defining moment in his administration. I will put my like of the Civil war period aside for a moment to give thought on this.
Surely it is major moment in which he has to address a country that is grieving and hurting. With all the victims, being white, a moment were he can cross a racial divide like no other President in our history. Words of condolence from a black President to a white America is history in it self.
Likely this will not even touch his mind as he prepares and then gives this address. But media and many in the country have defined this as a administration of a black president leading a white country, or a ethnic diverse country.

He can with 30 minutes of eloquent and gracious speaking end the much of the racial divide of the country. Or at least show that all people can feel the lose of a 9 year old girl.
