lion131: when i was very young at school i made a small bird out of wool and cardboard .it looked very nice,but it never flew.i think it had bird flu!
I surely don't know but when I returned to my highschool a man stepped up to me and said Hi Jens. Damned if I knew who it was.
But he contiued bla bla bla. It turns out that it was my woodwork teacher. He was still happy about the present I made him. The mail box is still in front of his house thirty some odd years later. I guess he is reminded of me every day for good or bad.
If that makes me a good craftsman or just cunning I don't know.

I wish my parents had been filthy rich, so that I could have studied Fine Art actually, instead of something useful with a future

I wasn't good at it. I had trouble drawing a straight line. I got more glue on my hands than the project I was working on.

I was good at art in school. Then went on to study it further at a community college. Then was hired as a graphic artist. I was at the job for 15 years but the pace got too much. But I still love art.
