Yes, I went to a few places in France the year of 1989. I really enjoyed the Louvre, I also spent time in Lourdes and Of course the Tour de Eiffel and Notre Dame. would love to take someone there special one day. To be honest,,it is not on the top of the list but I really do think it would be nice to return one day. Cheers ;-}
Wow Jac, what a incredibly interesting story! Sorry you had to go through the pain, but I'm glad you shared with us.
When my grandmother passed away, she was talking to her sisters (previously deceased) and laughing with them. Then she asked *me* if it was time to go. I answered that I didn't want her to leave. She said "but do you want me to stay here in pain?". I said no, that would be selfish of me. She smiled, talked to my dad for a bit, then went to sleep.
My mother suffered a stroke, and in her room at the hospital, asked "where did Vic go?"(my dad, who died 3 years previous to this)... my sister pointed to me and said "he's right here". She looked at me, then back to the space between me and my sister, and said, pointing to the spot... "no, not Victor... Vic"
I went to the Puyallup Fair near Tacoma in Washington one time, and observed a group hypnotizing with a professional running the show. Funniest thing I ever saw. One of the hypnotized women was asked to go up in the stands and sit on a guy's lap and kiss him (he was married, too!) Evenutually, they were all unhynotized, and they found out what they had done under hypnosis. Man, you should have seen the reactions, especially when they got copies of the tape!! I think one woman ran out the opening in the curtain.
galrads: OMG whatever really happened to this guy? I've not heard of his mention since the mid 70's when he was experimenting with (uh) stuff; like chasing dogs on all fours while using peyote out in the S.W. part of the U.S.A. Castaneda's works were presented as real-life accounts of his pleasures and otherwise experiments.
Now THAT sounds like a fun date. Normal guys never want to do anything that fun. They're all like bla bla bla. Let's go for coffee. Stop shoving my sock in my mouth. Hands off my fly. Bla bla bla.
Zimzane: I had a telepath message from a person in New hampshire. Something spirtual was going on. I called her up and she confirmed this. This is no joke. Very serious here. I guess you can call that a trance. She was taking pictures in a grave yard at night with cirles in the photos with facinating paranormal bizzare things. FOR REAl

EagleWoman: Not sure your experience is called trance. More like thought transmission. I have a friend with whom I can do that.
The circles in the picture are called orbs.
I believe a trance is an altered state of conciousness. Depending how deep in trance you are you can be completely unaware of what is going on around you and don't have any memory of what "happened" when you come to.
Could this be the same as sleep walking, I wonder?
