NoRewind: To be truthful? I think it is very intimate to spend the time in the kitchen with her helping, the hell with the TV!
I couln't fit in the beer drinking while watching the tv.... Ofcourse you would talk to her for time to time ... as you walked into the kitchen with you beer to see how things were going...

NoRewind: no no no there will be plenty of time for interior walls that will be built later on in the relationship, you know after a couple years of marriage

wils0n: Maybe the following date the Man could do the cooking ...? Or Maybe he could just buy takeways .... Your thoughts welcome
On a first date? No I don't think so.Early days of dating should not be spent slaving away in the kitchen. You're supposed to be enjoying each others company and if I am cooking I am completely absorbed in that.

I don't do it on the first date . I will however get around to having her over for dinner . I'm usualy a better cook than most women ( or men ) and if they want to watch TV while I prepare, that's alright . My kitchen is not that big and I function fine in it by myself . A second person just gets in the way . I just make them a nice coctail and nobody complains ( at least not so far ).
I have never been on a date , its always like when your eye's connect you know they are the one , so you go up to them and sure enough they want you too!! and without a word spoken you have a hug and then you are off to the nearest bed for hours of love making...
now going out to dinner means they want your company and having a family type meal can be nice with no strings attached , and eat at a table and tv and a movie ...its great
That sounds like a very bad first date. Aman should take a woman to someplace nice where its not noisey and talk to each other and get to know each other.
