It happens now and then to read comments from people who had visited for some days "x" or "y" country and then they comment on that country and only the bad things.
All the countries have good and bad sides, some more good than bad, others the other way around but it is unfair to say only the bad about any country.
We also have to be able to separate the governments and the people.
What the governments do as exterior and interior policies have nothing to do with the people, most of the times.
Also, what has happened many years ago, like one country conquering another that is past and has nothing to do with the people this time.
In my case I do not hate people from Spain because their ancestor have conquered Mexico and did many crimes to the native people.
I do not hate anyone, Spanish or any nationality.
And I have friends; Chinese, Japanese, Americans, Germans, Latinos, Spaniards, Italians, etc....I like them all.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by "Lots of people have a misunderstanding about Japan's research Whaling" who misunderstands what?? Japan have found a lucrative loophole in the fishing quotas by issuing research licenses for hunting and killing whales, yet none of the data collected is of any use worldwide, but the meat and oil is sold at a handsome profit. Where is the confusion??

In Mexico 4 % (or whatever number it is) of the people, might be drug dealears, well that does not make me a drug dealer. We also have a few Nobel Prize awarded, that does not make me a Nobel prize either.
And yes, Japanese have not stoppped whale hunting and neither have many other countries like:
Canada
Norwey
Russia
Faroe Islands
Iceland
Greenland
Indonesia
Japan
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
USA
btw I do not favor whale hunting. I have never had whale meat and I hope I never will.Ther are many other options for people to feed on.

Very true Riz...Just ask any of our Newfoundland fishermen As the stand on the shores under a moritorium, starving, watching the Japanese trawlers raping the oceans to extinction! The worst part is the absolute disregard for marine life or other countries laws.
