For the love of my life,for the woman that makes my heart beat fast,i would spend time working out a plan,so she could get all her jobs done in the house and garden,so it makes her life easier.

Ok, 'a bit heavy' as one expression goes, but looking to our world being the best of all possibilities, then yes, eternally would be nice if not ideal; it would remedy all sorts of problems without necessarily causing others. (If eternally/ til Death do us part actually existed and people held both morally and legally responsible to actually live it, they most likely behave quite differently than they do now, knowing that they can simply walk out when it suits them). People would certainly not marry as nonchalantly, without much thought or regards to commitment or responsibilities. Those require very serious thought; it is easier not to really think... This is a totally disposable society; everything, everyone is disposable; it doesn't seem to really bother anyone; universal attitude is 'who cares'...Can those types of attitudes be changed to once again accept the seriousness of a marriage with the 'til death do us part' actually meaning that? Do people in general really want that to be enforceable...would people even accept getting out of a marriage as hard or easy as it is to get of military service for instance??
Marriage is not a crime, nor should it be perceived as such; it does need a re-awakening of spirit for sure; to restore some measures of dignity and honour to it, but that depends on people and their basic values and any sense of morality(if they even have one). Marriage is a social core issue; the 'til death do us part' can only have real meaning in a society that truly means a commitment to its ideals and works sometimes hard to make marriages work for the obligations and joys of both parties...ok, now, I'll remove the Peter Pan style tinted sunglasses...

Ok guys if anyone is scared of commitment for life then we will always be hurt. Because it hurts, at least its with me if I love someone and then I loose him for any reasons. Whatever it is marriage of 10 years, 20 years or it is a dating of 6 months..When I start a relationship I am set to make it last. I also expect it in return..
