Of course there isnt a time limit but commonsense should tell any off us that a couple of weeks is not long enough to know anything other than that you like a person and maybe hope it will become more.
Most people would find it hard to accept that you cannot upload a pic, even those not very adept at IT can manage it. Also giving emails address or phone numbers in to early after contact is mot thought to be best practise regarding this online thing.
It would be a real drag for someone who holds trust high on their must have list to put so much energy into someone and find out they are non existent.
Have to be honest I dont understand what this means. How can you put energy into someone that doesnt exist?
The phrase "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." just because we are unable to see or acknowledge something at this moment in time it still doesn`t mean its not out there in some form and some dimension

@Tormented I thought I made it perfectly clear. I tell them there is no god because there is no god, simple. As for failing as a parent, well if my children believed a fictitious character was real then I failed of course.
A few people had said that children should be encouraged to make up their own minds. Should children be allowed make up their own minds about everything with no guidance from parents. Surely as parents it is part of our job to help and guide our children know right from wrong, that truth is good and lies are bad? If any of my children believed the lie that is religion and the story of god then I would have failed as a parent. Its like saying let them decide whether or not stealing or murder is wrong
Would love the option. Unemployed and barely able to put food in the table. Was discussing moving back into my Mothers soon, starting to look like my only option.
