Hello Sands,

Some would call me a junk dealer. I would consider myself a dealer of fine things. But anyway, I have been dealing with sports memorabilia for over 30 years and have an extensive knowledge. There is this one thing coming up on the market that is very obscure. It will take somebody with some knowledge to know what the value is. Up to this point, it appears to me that nobody knows its value yet because it was not marketed properly.

I will share more if I can lay my greasy nips on it. I don't want to bring any bad juju my way.

The last time I was this excited was when a local auction house had several (about 20) newly discovered hand-written letters by Susan B. Anthony. I kept telling my brother, whoever owns those was not too bright for having that tiny auction house sell them. A discovery like that belonged in a major auction house. Well, a couple of days before the auction started, they pulled them...saying they were sold to a University in New York. I wanted to sell them to the University. Maybe they weren't lacking smarts afterall.

LAN, thank you. You know, I probably should not be as excited as I am because nothing has happened yet. But, I think I have a great chance at making this work. If it does not work, at least the opportunity presented itself. ....that means, it can happen again. :)

Very well put and I agree with your assessment. I often wondered, if God appeared in front of somebody, or in front of all of us, how would we know it is God and would everyone believe it is God? That of course, if God is form.

Now I am coming from a standpoint of ignorance (so consider what you want here) because I never read the whole Bible. But, I have talked to people who have read it and have studied it extensively. They tell me the Bible is symbolic in nature. Maybe the concept of God needed to be describe as having form for people to either believe in him/her/it or to fully comprehend the idea.

Myself, I kinda like Greek mythology with the concept of many Gods. I happen to think that aliens do exist and had a part in making us humans. Therefore, they would fit the criteria or figure of a God or Gods if there are several different alien races out there.

I also think, we were designed as humans to know only what we are suppose to know. When it is time for us to know something more, it will appear to us. For example, I "think" there are many more dimensions that exist around us, but with the combination of our five senses, we only "know" of three.

Okay....a bit off the subject here.
