Pepps. I will not share the secrets about mine and Robert's dates. I promised Robert not to say a word.
Thank you though Pepps. I really was surprised to see I lost anything today at my weigh in. It just confirms to me that I am doing something right...even though that is rare for me.
Three of my family members, up north, just had what seemed like food poisoning but they got it at three different times and it is now been confirmed as a 24 hour flu. Naw! I will pass. If food poisoning means having what they had to endure, I will lose weight the old fashion way.
But as to why I need to lose weight, I do not really "need" to lose it, but want to. I have my reasons...I can go on for several reasons. But, the most important one is my future health. :)
I cannot wait to hear how you are doing. You know, last month I lost what was it 2 1/2 pounds and this month 3 1/2 pounds. It really does not seem like much but after I add it up, 13 pounds is pretty darn good with seeming like I am giving no effort to it. I look at it as I am on pace to lose around 40 pounds for the year....that is pretty significant. Rome was not built in a day and I cannot look at a couple pounds lost a month as no little thing. :)
Actually, before I weighed myself I thought I didn't lose any weight for the month. It really did not seem like I was sacrificing my old eating ways all that much. If that scale had a mind of its own, I would have thought it was April Fooling me. But...no....serious here.
Nam....in my opinion, it is a clever set up. If there was a huge plot to pull it off, all the plot makers have to do is create reasonable doubt, and I think they did that.
Do I think Oswald acted alone....no. It might even be possible that Oswald was not even part of the plot...but just a pawn.
I think mental illness is a very difficult thing to diagnose. The mentally ill might not even know they are ill, or may not admit they are. In addition, they might be difficult to spot by peers around them.
For the ones who seek help, I really do not know if there should be more support but I am not sure how much they get as it is. But, doctors can only do so much...even "good" ones. Who was that, Dr. Drew????....had a patient who was famous and they still killed themselves.
Change is tough if there is no reason to do so. Even with reason, people would have to recognize the need for them to change. In addition, they would have to know how to change. It is difficult for someone to change when they have been living a certain way all their lives. In a way, that is all they know. I think the best way for somebody to change if for them to hit rock bottom in life. But...it also depends on the situation you are talking about changing.
....but, I do know for a fact, we do not own our land, even if the deed is in our name. We do not pay gov rent....or, I mean taxes...guess where it goes. :)
Mimi, it takes all kinds to make the world turn. We are all entitled to our opinions, which some of those might be harsh, all we can do is accept them. Of course, unless they violate rules or policies. Unfortunately, this is the internet.....which is literally like a box of chocolates.
I love the pic with the duck in the water by the bank. The reflection of the duck in the water is fabulous. He must have a nice camera...the pictures are awesome.
It's that time of the month
...but....I will not admit to anything.
