Okay...one more story with my dad. He is a guy who does not know how to adjust the loudness of his talk to the environment.
Anyway, just going to make this brief as possible. My brother got a bad deal on a car. So, my ex, me, my brother, and my dad decide to go to another car lot to trade in my brother's car. We are all in the car dealership. You can imagine this, it is all quite in there and they got the low-volume music going over the loud speakers....you know, just a nice pleasant and calm atmosphere.
Anyway, my dad is explaining to the salesman about my brother's car and the bad deal he got. The salesman is like, yeah...that is not right. That is not the way to do business. Out of nowhere, my dad yells out...."THEY RIPPED HIS SACK!" All five of us (including the salesman) just all went silent. I just could not hold it any more, I started laughing and the salesman started laughing too. I would not be surprised if the manager didn't hear my dad say that...even with his door closed on his office, across the building.
Since you promised it is not the $3 buffet, I am there Mimi. I do not mean to be fussy, or anything, but....can you make sure my seat is warm when I arrive?
Not sure how true it is, but I have heard some of the top officials...and I mean top....were involved in things. How do you stop the people in charge of our lives? Anyway, maybe something to consider.
Again, not sure it is true...just some hearsay.
There is a lot of stuff on the internet....IF TRUE....would make anyone question human nature and give a new perspective on evil.
Hello Mimi, thank you for sharing the great inspirational videos. I am a firm believer that us, ourselves (for the most part), can dictate whether we live happily or not. I say....keep a smile on the face and love in your heart....life will just happen beautifully all by itself.
To your lovely Monday and week ahead.... (instead of beer in the cups...there is coffee).
Have you ever noticed?
Yeah Pepps....when my dad yelled that out...just for that moment afterwards, I didn't know if I wanted to be there standing next to him or what.
