RE: Anyone who found love online ? - Congrats to them

It is said...you would have better luck winning the big lottery two days in a row....than to find love over the internet. rolling on the floor laughing Actually, that was me saying that. laugh

I have heard some stories....my ending has yet to be written. I will let you know when I know the end of it. :)

RE: Can You Die Of A Broken Heart?

Hello Cat....

Sorry to hear about your friend. It is wonderful to know that you did actually have some time together before his death.

As far as your blog title, I really do not know. It seems as this happens quite often, where one dies and the spouse follows shortly afterwards. I wonder if it isn't some sort of mental state that provokes death shortly afterwards? In a sense, a piece of you disappears once you become one from a relationship. The power of the mind.....perhaps?

Again, sorry to hear the bad news. Hopefully things are going well over there with you and his family.

RE: hey

RE: reason..season..lifetime

One has to watch out for the manipulator.

RE: How do you measure success in a man ?..question fo

Success to me is when you can put your head down on your pillow at night with a smile and wake up with that same smile.

I feel success is gauged by the individual...you should not allow anyone else define how successful or not you are.

RE: Crossing boundries...

Hello HL,

I can only speak here from personal experiences. I lived all my life in a very small community where everyone knows everyone else. There was really not much for opportunity there. It was economically depressed; therefore, living comfortable was a difficult task. On top of that, it was sort of mundane and boring with nothing much to do. Though I had plenty of family and friends there, it still did not hold me back from moving. Now days with technology, my friends and family are still close to me despite many miles separating us.

Moving to my new location is one of the most incredible things I have done in my life. The feeling is like I moved to a new world/life. It has given me a more in depth perception on life. I do not have any intentions on moving back. In fact, it has made me wonder, what else am I missing in life?

If you decide to move, I wish you a smooth and safe transition.

Pepps,

That was just a hypothetical statement....if I was a chick.

However...I must say....If I was a chick, I would really be curious about that guy with two flames......just saying now....don't read too much into things here.

RE: DISCOVERIES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS

Hello SR,

I know this is not going to sound like much of a suggestion....but, I would recommend just reading and/or listening to some of Eckhart Tolle's stuff he has on the internet.

I would also suggest listening to him with a relaxed environment and with an open mind.

Afterall, what could it hurt? Who knows, maybe you will find it interesting?

I wish you the best.

RE: whoa

RE: whoa

It sounds like you may be overtired. I am not a doctor...but my remedies have helped me. Here is what I would do....take two shots of some tasty whiskey and find yourself the nearest pillow and blanket. laugh

RE: Guardian Of The Environment

Hello Socrates,

I am proud to say that I am 25% Native American.

Through the years, most people changed from being connected with the Earth and nature, shifting to fixated on themselves. Like you mentioned in your post, greed.

With the large population that now resides on this planet, it will be very difficult to have a lifestyle like the natives had. Sure, we do put in place laws; but, not everyone will follow them and it is virtually impossible to uphold them. In modern days, laws can be bypassed by hiring savvy lawyers and/or paying the right law enforcement personnel with bribes or campaign contributions. Again, this boils down to greed.

With that said, I believe more and more people are seeing the importance to preserving what little we have left. Even though global warming is a controversial subject, there seems to be an agreement between the majority of scientists that our temperatures are increasing. Even if this temperature increase is not from humans, what would it hurt to respect the planet? At the very least, we will have a cleaner planet to live on and we can become closer to it like the natives.

On the flip-side of the coin, if it is caused from humans, we should hope that it is not too late.

From my understanding, the Native Americans were very spiritual. Also, I know there are some prominent societies that you can join only if you believe in a higher being. Maybe it is time for us on this planet to look a little beyond ourselves?

RE: WHEN DO YOU PULL AWAY FROM A RELATIONSHIP?

Hello SR,

It is difficult to make decisions based off of emotions. Emotions are always changing.

Hope you are doing well.

RE: Something to ponder...

I have always pondered how people would be if a way of seeing themselves (mirror...etc) had never been invented.

RE: How to tell a guy loves you?

In love, actions speak louder than words. You will know if he loves you.
