Risk can be mitigated by how well you make decisions. Your decisions can be better the more you understand all the parameters involved in making that decision. In business, there are tons of decisions and risks to take...I think that is why I like it so much....keeps life interesting.
Thankfully, most of my decisions/risks have been good.
Ken, they say that we get shorter as we age...or shrink. Maybe you kept those cloths for a good reason. If you ever fit into them again, and are still on here, you will have to post a pic. I would love to see them.
You got me envious with your ski jacket...you actually got 30 years of use out of it. Is there any secret to having clothes last that long? So far with my jeans, I have been learning the heard way.
A 1965 razor, that must be one of those where you turn the handle and the top opens up on it? Can you even still buy the blades for those anymore?
CC....now be honest when answering this. Deep down inside, did you have an urge of trying to take it off her back and run as fast as you could with it?
Hmmm DC, that must be a woman thing. I have heard women say they like a man that has his natural body odor. Me, if it smells like a Downey ball, I am happy.
Baj....congrats for fitting into your shorts! But the dress, that sounds like you should set aside a day or morning each year. I don't know, if I had a piece of clothing I really liked, I would hold on to it just for....well....just for you never know when you can use it again.
I once had this funky shirt. I think somebody must have hand made it. It was a felt-type of material and had a outdoors type of pattern to it. I called it my holiday shirt. lol I wore it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Eventually, the elbows got worn out of it, so it went down town. I should have brought that thing in to get patched up.
CH....if you end up kicking my butt, just make sure I do not have my 10+ year old jeans on. I would hate to have to bring them in for any repair or cleaning.
Of course I was just joking. :) But, like someone or many said, mistakes are a good opportunity for me (or anyone) to learn from. If a mistake I made is pointed out, I would certainly apologize immediately for it.
At least you have air conditioning....lol.....j/k.
There is a show on Bravo call From Friends to Lovers. The transition from the two has a lot of complicated dynamics to it. It is a fairly new show and out of the, I think 4 couples, it only looks like one of them is having a fairly successful transition from friends to lovers. What I like about the show is you see how difficult it really is to become lovers with a friend...how each partner has expectations not met, how intimacy is the key to the transition and how uncomfortable that can be among friends.
I am living proof....
DC....there are no teeth marks on that cupcake????? Are you feeling alright.
