I say, it is okay to be walked on. But....learn how you got in a position of being walked on and avoid them in the future. Don't associate yourself with people that enjoy walking on you or others. It is a peaceful, easy, and enlightening fix.

Ego can do a lot of harm to one's self. Your blog reminds me of a time I was in a night club last year. Just as I was exiting the restroom, I hear a guy say, "that is right, you better get the F out of here." I stop as I am leaving and turn around. There is a guy, who I never even seen before, looking at me through the mirror. In confusion, I ask, are you talking to me? He responds, yes.

In a split second, I do a mental assessment of the situation. Here is a guy, who is smaller in size than me and with a look on his face displaying shear evil. Even though I am confused, and there are other people in the restroom, I politely say to him...no problem, I am leaving right now. I often wonder what would have happened if I would have tried to protect me ego. The bottom line, no matter what would have happened....it would have not been worth it.

From the same night club, my brother heard on the news that two guys were followed while leaving it last Friday night. They were both shot dead in their car. I question....was the provoking factor something to do with their ego?

I once heard....your ego is not your friend.

KN....you just might have hit the nail on the head there. So, we have two women who admit they serve a purpose for them. I am now starting to see the importance of them.

So true Keys. It seems as the weeks go by, there is more and more anger or negative energy spreading. Hopefully people can begin to see beyond all the superficial things in life.

There are two things that I really like to avoid talking about and that is religion and politics. If you have two people that have strong views that oppose each other....it will often lead to either frustration and/or anger. Unfortunately, most of the time, both topics lead to nowhere good. IMO

If you are still in Minnesota, you must surely be cold there. I just got in from being out and it was -15 degrees here. I haven't seen that temperature since I lived way up norther a few years ago. Stay warm and safe.
