Well Nam, when I signed her petition, she also needed my phone number. So, she has mine....maybe somehow on God's green Earth...she will call me?? :) At the very least, I sharpened my street smarts skills a bit. :)............................, but, I will take the "Tip Your Hat Award" if I am so blessed to receive it.
Congrats......remember not to give into those cravings. Not to mention, it seems as if after you quit and think that only having one cigarette is okay...it isn't. Most people I know that feel just having one cigarette is fine, wind up smoking again.
Aside from the distance thing...unless she is traveling to me.

A lot of times I will end conversation if she starts stating things she expects in a relationship that I cannot or will not offer. The timeline will vary.

After reading all of the responses, I found what Obstinance_Works has stated makes perfect rational sense. In addition, a lot of what he has said, I see it first hand happening.
No matter who we are....or even who we think we are....somewhere down the line, we will all be held accountable for our actions.
I know one thing...if I woke up in the morning (well...afternoon...lol), and those were at my bedside....I would be in love with the lady who served them and with the goodies themselves. :)
I, like you, enjoy responding to blogs that are found interesting. I did not respond to your blog yesterday because I did not find it all that interesting...maybe a bit insensitive if anything.
The little I know you, from your blogs anyway, I really do not think you are the malicious type. I think you put a lot of thought into your blogs and try to bring out that thinking in others with posting them. Also, you do have a great sense of humor that is magnetic. Perhaps from your perspective you seen some humor in your blog yesterday. However, maybe you overlooked the perspective of the other side? I don't know.
I will say this....I am guilty of putting my foot in my own mouth more than once. (Who knows...this post might just be another such case) I always found the best way of taking it out is acknowledging it and apologizing. :)

I certainly appreciate your comment. Again, another very well spoken viewpoint you bring. Before writing this blog, the same red lights went off within me also. If you read a lot of the women's responses, you will start to see there are different meanings to what the word independence indicates.
From what I gather, if a women proclaims she is independent, it may be a good idea to find out exactly what they mean by independent. That is, if you can get them to explain that...afterall, they are independent. .....I couldn't resist, had to throw that in there.
