I have taken the test questions...assuming we are talking about the one here on CS and I have scored around 80% on a couple. The lady who I knew 80% apparently wanted to know me 0%. lol
It is very sad to hear people need to turn to drugs in the first place to live life in "reality." From what you say, the problem sounds very widespread and will be difficult to contain. I know if I was living in that area, I would consider moving.

Yea. I thought it was going to be some sort of enlightening spiritual experience when I first heard about it. After looking into it further, I am not so sure it is worth taking the risk.
I think for the longest time society was focused more on materialistic goods more than anything. Following that I would say intelligence and then spirituality.
I heard that the 2012 Mayan prophecy proclaiming the end of the world did in fact happen. However, the end was not what we thought it would be with the destruction of the planet, it came with a changing of times. It is said that everything happens in cycles, like our days, our years, etc. I heard that the Mayan prophecy indicated a new cycle we have entered. This new cycle has been described as people becoming more closer to Jesus on a spiritual level.
With the previous being said, I think we are heading to more of a spiritual way of living and becoming less obsessed with material goods.
Oh come on now, you do not need to be apologetic for sharing your feelings here. Love is out there for you, as for everyone else also. You are on the right site to possibly find it. Now you need to do some work to find it.
I think Echart Tolle's teachings really help to explain and show how to become in touch with the "essence." Once we attach a label or word to something, we are either distorting or losing the underlying essence of that thing.
Before studying Tolle, I probably wouldn't have cared if there was an essence or not to anything. Now, I do believe that essence does exist and it is very peaceful.
Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with me. There are a couple of times I can recall rising up above my body while falling asleep. It is really fascinating to know that our souls can travel as they do.
I was talking with my brother last night a little about this. He was totally against astral projecting. I understand his point of view. He says that when we are ready to navigate our souls in the way that ap allows, it will just naturally happen. He continued by saying we should not force anything that is not natural. That makes sense to me.
You are right about being in the correct state of mind. That is kinda what I was reading in the responses to the youtube video I watched on the subject.
I have to agree. When I first heard about it, it sounded very interesting. As I looked into it more, I was not so sure on how interesting it really was. However, I must say, I did try it once before looking further into it. There was some sort of hypnotic tone I found on youtube. Anyway, I listened to it for an hour and actually fell asleep. I do not think it worked on my because I do not remember anything happening. However, at the end of the tone there is some sort of weird sound that woke me up. I took my headphones off and fell right back to sleep. After I fell back to sleep, I had a very vivid and weird dream. lol Not sure if that was tied in with astral projection or not....or I was just due for a weird dream. :)
I often thought about something similar. I am like you. Came here to meet the lady of my dreams, but got caught up with all the blogging. As I continue to blog, time goes by and it seems I am no closer to finding that woman.
I recently moved to a new city, leaving all my friends behind and all but one of my family members. My intentions were to go to law school here but discovered the business I had was thriving in this new area. Put the law school idea on the back burner, and now do what I love doing.
I often wonder if I moved down here for the purposes I mentioned above or if I was running from old memories. Maybe a little of both.
I consider myself an understanding person of other people. When I do not completely understand, I am not afraid to ask questions. Though this is how I perceive myself, I have been told by a very few I am something a tad bit different. Feedback is a beautiful thing. It helps you to become a better person.
