Morg, I don't think there is a Malaria vaccine yet . I have heard that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is funding one but I can't add anything more . The desease is spread by the Anopheles mosquito . Just bring some mosquito repellent, prefferably one with DEET in it . You should be OK .

Morg, All you are getting is a vaccine just to boost your immune system . You are going there to have a good time not submit to an ailment . So the needle stings for a second or two . It is a small price to pay for a real shot at happiness . Good luck and I hope this one takes for the both of you . While you are there take lots of pictures and if it becomes one of those really sucsessfull ones, then you two will have no choice but to hunnymoon here in Puerto Rico . Well if you can't be yourself then who can you be ? ? ? . . . . Compromise does not mean being something you are not . It just means getting along with someone else . If you have to pretend to be someone or something you are not , then the relationship is doomed from the start . If you do find yourself in the aformentioned situation then best to look for a ( hopefully ) more mature and compatable partner .

Aswina, If you are planning an extended stay, then you have the spirit of Navidad . We first have Christmas ( December 25 ) then we have new years ( Jan.1 ) then we have Three kings day ( Jan.6 ) and finally the season ends with the St. Sabastion festival in Old San Juan . This does not include all the parties leading up to the festivities . We might even have time for a beach party or two ( day or night ) and perhaps a picnic or two in the interiour . We also have to go out at night for some dancing and sightseeing . So when can I expect you ? . .
