Dear Greta, I'm really impressed that you would know of the Beau Brummels . They faded after about a year and most people have never heard of them . They did have a few hits and did get a lot of airplay but somehow got lost in the dustbin of history .

Dear Funxsinia, Art is it's own critic . What stands the test of time and what doesn't evetually is on it's own merrits . In ten years no one will remember this film . I will however think it will take that long to stop laughing at all the bad acting that was in it . . .

PS: I still think that most of the rioting was members of the Screen Actors Guild .

Morg, When you vote for the president of the US you are actually voting for a represenative who then goes to the eletorial college and they vote for the President .

Right now there are 13 key States that a candidate must win to be elected . That is why no candidate goes to Montana or New Mexico to campaign . There is a lot of talk about making Puerto Rico as a State but I tell them that it won't make a difference . Most don't believe me untill they actually look it up .

There was a move to use popular vote and do away with the electorial college but too much stratagy is already involved it getting the key 13 . I know I will never see it in my lifetime .

Morg, Quite surprisingly the US does not just have two parties . There are at least five The Democrats, the Republicans, the American Party , the Libirterian party, and the Socialist party ( yes it was the old Commumist party and yes we had one for decades ) .

Most of the lesser ones get fewer than 5% of the vote between them but sometimes they have exceptions ( George Wallace and the American party ) . The problem is money . The sad truth is that whoever spends the most usually wins ( remember that dumb voter statement ) .

One more fact that most people do not know is that citizens do not elect the President, States do .

Morg, The big thing now is to convince all the dumb ones ( and there are a lot of them ) that the present administration is incompitant and that it will lead to failure . They do this with negative adds and paid commentators that bash the party that is in .

Once they get in then it is business as usual . Like I said there are no dumb politicians just dumb voters .

Dear Luv, Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but have you ever seen a real jury . I'm not talking about the big news cases, but the everyday ones that hapen all the time . They are usually filled woth elderly or neerly homeless people that volunteer because they get a free lunch !

Any compitant lawyer will tell you that for the most part juries are dumb . That is what they count on so they can win there cases .

While we are on the subject of " dumb ", all politicians are elected by the people ( OK, the President is elected by the States ), but the bottom line is they got the most votes . There are no dumb politicians, only dumb voters . So just be aware of what is realy going on and we will have a system that actually works .
