Washing that gray right outta my hair...

I know...sounds vain, but I can't help it. I started going gray at 19 - a gift from both my prematurely gray parents. My siblings all are gray and all look older than I do, although I'm the oldest. When I see that gray start to grow in, I feel awful and can't wait to get rid of it. I am in awe of men and women who don't mind it - but I can't seem to accept it in myself.

You could, I suppose dye it, some kina matching colour or blend - like a silvery birch...you're young, maybe you will start a new zanyy fashion!cool
Dear Presuming, At 43 you are a long way behind me ! . . wink

I spotted my first grey at 18 or 19. Now at 32, I've got quite a few. I get the "old man" comment from my buddies at work, but I don't care. I suppose I could dye it, but to me that would be a waste of money since my hair grows fast. Now I've spotted some in my beard and eyebrows. I'll just let nature take it's course and be thankful I have a full head of hair, some guys my age or younger cannot say that, lol
My hair is starting to pass the salt n pepper stage and is coming into the all white phase. It started pretty young at age 35 and I never really cared although some others seemed pretty alarmed by it. I just laughed and ignored them.

Once I saw this woman, very attractive, that had white hair. I mentioned how nice it looked and the above story.

She said, "I too don't care what people think. I LOVE my white hair"! So there you have it. Don't fret because people do like how it looks!
those were the good old days i have no hairsad flower
just dye it all grey and own it .doh
Calliope, if I were in WA I would def look you up! I do it myself to save money...and it looks pretty good, if I say so myself. Knight...OH! For the day I can just use a shampoo! It grows in completely silver now, so it's all or nothing, and I'm def not ready for the all gray thing...so for now it's dye, dye, dye!!! ;)
I wish I had hair to turn grey.
i like my grey i earned every single hair .
