Blue~ I know doctors are often first of all businessmen if it comes to their own interests and love $$$, but one could hope that they do have some kind of professional conscience. This article made me wonder if Dr. Mengele's spirit is very far.
That was quite a shocking article, but somehow it doesn't surprise that much me either. Just wondering what happened the the Ethic Code doctors are supposed to have.
Every person should be free in choosing its religion, and that's no different for choosing to become a Muslim. I know too many Muslims to know it is not the religion that makes you a good or a bad person. As for the "fundamentalist" part,I don't think I would like that, but we find that in Christianity and Judaism or certain sects also. Every extreme believe has its intolerant sides that I prefer to be cautious with because they often involve anger... and between anger and danger there is only one letter difference.
Listen to others, but always forge your own opinion and make your decision based on what you think you yourself. Often your first intuition is the best choice.
And Firas, before "spitting in the homemade soup", maybe you should have a look at this....isn't that the country where you live? And they are ALL rather recent.
Hear, hear. Judge Firas ruled, and since he's the beholder of the one and absolute truth, everybody who thinks different is wrong and fascist.......yeah, right...
It's called intolerance, and it's present in some way regardless where you are or what you believe in. Mostly it's born our of self interest or fear for diversity/different views.
"Krijgt tieten"....expression of (false) astonishment. I knew Afrikaans is very similar to Dutch, but never saw it written down. Its very close to 18th century Dutch.
