seems to me that , specially in military ruled societies, the rich still get richer and the poor poorer (or shot), often in a more barbaric way as in so called democracies, where rich get richer and poor get poorer also...
Ive seen Robert Cray perform live once, not so long after "right next door was a hit ('87? ... '88?) I think it was the first Blues Artist that really captured me. I had found a place not to far from the stage, so my ears were blown out, but man, that guy knows how to use a guitar.
Oly- Carnival also owns Seaborn cruiselines, Holland America and Cunard cruise lines. I worked in the cruise industry in the nineties, and in those days safety rules and drills were very strict, and I cant imagine that it changed in general, but individual actions can be catastrophic too, specially if the individual is the ships commander.
The worst thing of all is that the Captain still continues saying he did abandon his vessel the last. He decided to change course and sail close by the island to honour one of his crew.
Very good question. I guess it depends very much on the two persons. The greater the distance the more the effort it takes to put things together, and not everyone can life with being apart at first and miss the bonding moments that are the cement of a couple.
I dont think there is one standard answer, but more about finding the right recipe to navigate through the obstacles that keeps you apart. Personally I would always give it my best shot and hope luck is at my side.
Firas~ You talk about respect for elderly and others and how this is important in your religion. Yet I read the rest of your comments too. They are selfish, respect less,self-centred, arrogant and victim player toward anyone who has a different opinion as yourself. You seem to have great knowledge about the things you believe in, but also proof to be rather ignorant when it comes to things that are not apart of those believes. And your opinion is from what I understand completely ruled by what your religions tells. You claim to have the one and only truth on your side and consider any other opinion as truthfulness rubbish, if not a danger to yr believes. At the same time you cry about the system or others having so little consideration about your faith. Man, read back your comments, you excel in being rude. Treat others how you like to be treated yourself. and if you want to change the world, I suggest you to start with yourself.
as for the original blog subject. Indeed ,it seems as common sense.
Bob Marley American??? Don't think so...Well, everybody can mistake, but I'm not sure if any Jamaican will find this funny. But a great musician he was, that's true!
