Shay you are such a sweet person

I can relate to your video, so many Irish make the pilgrimage home for xmas each year from New York, London & europe. I did it myself for five years from London & twice I couldn't make it but learned to respect & love the beautiful city of London to allow me to arrive in Dublin airport when I was a kid to be greeted by my family. It's a beautiful experience but for so many it's so hard to return to their jobs.

Elmo, yeah we have a small celebration during Christmas Eve, just lil' food and that's it. But i will not be alone. There are a lot of my fellow filipinos who are also away from home this holiday.

As a driver I have spent many holidays away from family.... I here the holiday music , and get sad sometimes...in some ways my career choice has cost me in that department...sad to think of all the familys celebrating , while you are at some truck stop etc. I have most of my family..children grown now , all spread out in U.S. making there own lives and careers...i enjoy the pictures ...take solace in knowing my years of driving has given them this opportunity for health , wealth , and prosperity...and realize this is the best gift in life I could have given them....and makes it all worth it....

my only daughter maybe as well will not come for X-mas this year.
I can understand moms and daughters in similar situation.
Only what I can say is; " all we get or do not get in our lives has some meaning"...
WE all will be here at Christmas and I am sure we will share with Christmas atmosphere, joy and human support to each other.

That was very touching...My first bestest best friend was a Phillopino girl, named Marlene!! We used to walk around on home-made stilts all the time. I wonder where she is now!!! Are you working in Saudi???? ANd when can you go home???
