I loved someone & let her go

She loved me and I hurt her big time but I knew we could never be together unless I made the changes in my stable life that she didn't have, I wanted her to live with me but she wouldn't & I walked away.

I tried to keep in contact with her because I loved her but she drifted & met someone else and is still with him today and I'm single.

Love is beautiful but it is also heartbreaking

You say your open minded but your afraid to love, you put up a barrier which has a negative effect on the relationship. Let your heart go, feel free again, stop thinking about the past & think of the future. Find that guy you want to share your life with & hold on to him - life is way too short, we all will be pushing up daises far too long ....

I don't want to add negativity to your blog but I think your very young to worry about if any one reply's to your messages - Your age tell's me you should have no problem finding somebody at a party/club - you are so young and probably not the place a "dating Site" to find someone close to your age - I'm not sure about the age bracket you have mentioned though

As the previous person said - join the blogs & make friends & go clubbing to find that hot guy in your life

Shay - It's part of the process of growing up & finding the right person in your life - I'm no expert in finding love but I have had my share of romances that didnt work

That special person will come along some day for you - they will have all the qualities that you want in a relationship and it should last - but it will also need compromise from you both in good & bad times - Be yourself from the 1st day you meet & never change, smiles will be brought to your face in early morning, the afternoon and with hugs & kisses in the evening

PS: I turned 43 last week and only for my mum & sister I wouldn't get any cards or pressies

My mates send me text messages & my work colleagues wished me happy birthday but a card with a stamp from someone special is always nice

Bear - The price of hotels has come down to try & keep the economy moving - I know how much the US tourists love to visit & now the south African's too

The city of Dublin has changed but also has the country but the craic & the pint are still as good so if your planning a summer "Vacation" spend some of your US dollar's in the Emerald Isle - we will give you a great exchange rate

The ring of Kerry on the atlantic shores with the Skellig's approx 60miles from Ennis but don't forget to visit Dublin for the craic
