Hi Cap - I saw the poor chap's rather old and tired script being dragged out for the unpteenth time last night It must drive the poor old hag to despair not being able to bore the majority of us to death with his attention seeking more than once a week. The tragedy of course is the silly old cow is scratching at the screen even as we speak, raging with frustration that he can't take to the stage.
Teddy - You are starting to sound a bit melodramatic, my friend. AND, doing your self no favors.
Chill big man, and just do what ya do. To be affected by virtual blog people is just silly and makes you look petty. \ Cmon Maaaan. Toughen up, princess.
Serendipity has a nice way about his manner and is an example to those who want to try and pass on a message. However, the fact remains there is a HUUUUge leap to be made for anyone who wants to believe his posts. There is no rational judgement that can be made with what he says.
There is NO physical evidence at all of Jesus, and the accounts of him were made 100 years after he may have existed..
Good luck to the believers. There have been so many trials and studies on prayer, god etc and the reality is there is absolutely NO proof, NO , current example, NO place for the tooth fairy any more.
I asked some realistic questions in a blog a day or two ago, with NO answers.
If she was there and you did happen to meet her, it would have been a rather peculiar and awkward meeting I imagine, what with her dislike for comments and all.
I propose a new day to mark our concern over the rising population- World Celibacy Day - I imagine most of us here will have absolutely no problem participating, on any day.
Lively - You have acknowledged your feelings of distaste toward me because of my perceived attitude toward you and others which i will respect as this this your right to do so. I do however harbor no ill feelings toward you at all, or any others. Admittedly I can be thoughtless, harsh and a little judge mental when it comes to particular topics, but I do not hate or even dislike you or anyone else for that matter.
Please don't let the likes of me and others who are a little insensitive sometimes, effect you too much. It is often a bit rough and tumble when it comes to issues people feel passionate about, don't take it personally.
I don't normally get on the topic of religion, but of recent times the blogs have been inundated by people preaching, so I simply began to voice my (at times rude) opinion to wave the atheist flag. To be honest I'm bored of the debate right now.
You have conducted your self with respect and consideration on the blogs, as I see it, and I believe you to be a good person.
Grab a chair, kick ya shoes off, hang around., get to know us all a little more and I feel sure your feelings will change.
The bible was written by MEN in the middle east, and as the world they new consisted only of the few countries in that area and no others, they simply didn't know of other peoples living beyond in the larger world, and of course couldn't make reference to those they knew nothing of. They could only draw from their own experience and environment.
Now, if the bible were written by a god, he surely would have known the extent of his kingdom and been able to offer insights to all his peoples of the world, wouldn't he?
RE: what would you like you grave stone to say?
I think I left the iron on.
