RE: HUMAN RIGHTS-Economic, Social and Cultural

Hi friend, I have been enjoy the beautiful sunshine today and maybe spring is upon us the UK nowdaisy

I would like to compliment you on another finely written blog and as always a very fairly run one too.

I can'r really add much more to the debate now and all I will say is that the governments need to wake up and deal with this problem now before things get beyond sorting out.

RE: HUMAN RIGHTS-Economic, Social and Cultural

Friend, I am very much against immigrants coming into my country, claiming all the benefits that there family’s have never paid into, taking our homes, using our health service, taking away our jobs and sending all their money back home to their country’s instead of spending it here.

Employers have been employing illegal immigrants on the cheap to avoid taxes for a long time now and the government are accepting of this even though it takes away jobs from UK born citizens.
I am all for helping out the needy, but there comes a time when enough is enough and other country’s need to step in and help with the situation.

France doesn’t want them and created accommodation for immigrant’s right next to the channel tunnel to temp them to go to the UK, but they also assisted them in leaving.
The problem is if you hold your hands out to help too many take advantage, because it’s a free ride for immigrants to live in the UK and unlike Canada you get benefits straight away instead of waiting two years for them.

The lottery makes a fortune and if they were to give 30% of their earnings to poor countries that would be a start and appeals always create revenue.

The most frustrating thing for me is when countries have divisions of religious factions in them and wars are being fought over it instead of being resolved in a civilised way and a large number of immigrants seeking asylum come from those factions, so religion is to blame for a lot of it.

Why can’t people be civilised when it comes to religious beliefs and accept others different religious beliefs? I thought religion was supposed to be a good, positive thing for folks to believe in and gives them a positive out looks on life, but obviously that’s not the case a sadly.

RE: HUMAN RIGHTS-Economic, Social and Cultural

Friend, If country’s governments would sort out their own problems and run their countries the right way we would no longer have the mass immigration problem, but as long as religion is around there will always be wars fought over religious beliefs and murder is being committed in the name of god.

RE: HUMAN RIGHTS-Economic, Social and Cultural

Friend, We are good people in our hearts and our minds, so we have nothing to feel bad about, but the governments have a lot to answer for and how these corrupt ministers and bankers look at themselves in the mirror each morning I do not know?

We have food banks here in the UK now and the immigration problem keeps on rising and rising, but because of it one day we will no longer have public services, benefits, council houses and the national health service will become privatised.

Basically the whole economic structure will collapse, because it is over run by immigrants and sadly generations of family's who were born and have lived in the UK for hundreds of years will be seeking asylum elsewhere.

RE: Unanswered question.

I can’t see any evidence that the bloggers are split into two opposing groups, but I do see some bloggers have differences of opinion especially when it comes to religious blogs and I for one keep clear of them, because I have no interest in religion, so what could I contribute to a religious discussions? I have little knowledge of religion and I stick to what I know.

We don’t all have to all get and as long as we can diplomatically debate in a constructive way I see no problem with differing opinions on any subject matter, because it’s far more interesting than everyone agreeing on everything and nothing new being learnt in the process.

If I find a subject matter to be interesting to me I will participate on it no matter who the creator of the blog is and that’s evident by me commenting on this one.

RE: HUMAN RIGHTS-Economic, Social and Cultural

Hello friend, corrupt greedy bankers and politicians have a lot to do with it and as long as they embezzle money, claim outrageous expenses and earn ridiculously high wages I can’t see things improving.

I would love a modern day robin hood to come along to take from the rich to give to the poor and needy.

Oil is a valuable commodity and billions of pounds of tax payers money was wasted on an illegal war in Iraq not to mention all the innocent folks who were murdered just, so corrupted greedy politicians could get their hands on the oil.

The sad truth is that the rich keep on getting richer and the poor keep on getting poorer, because government won’t tax the big companies the way they should, so the poor end up having to pay tax increases year after year to pay for all the public services.

How do we get the corrupted out of power so the poor and needy can get help? I have no idea and too many are corrupt in politics and the evil in the world will remain sadly.
