Actually, I'm privileged to have the Shree Stooges telling me where I go wrong. My only problem is that collectively they make up for a large percentage of my comments - of course all negative. I had an aunt like that. My mother used to say that she (my aunt) drank a cup of vinegar every morning just to keep her sour for the day.
He probably does not realise that nothing is ever deleted on the www. Deleted comments are merely flagged not to display but it is still available to CS.
Hi Luke. He is the proverbial pain in the donkey. In the beginning I thought it was personal but I soon got to realise it's his style. I should really just ignore him . CS should build in the ability to block unwanted people from our blogs.

Al Jazeera leans strongly away from the west and therefore biased against the west. Not trustworthy at all.

Yes. That happens here too. And young girls make babies which are passed on to grandparents to get children's grants. But these are poor people. Children are seen as revenue.
What I referred to are people who can afford to buy a house but simply won't. And yes, it is not limited to blacks, but it is predominantly black people. The whites make up more or less 10% of the population but you will find only one in a thousand whites living in informal settlements and they are really poor. They're not idling waiting for housing. They have nowhere else to go.
I often wonder if there is not another reason why people of African origins don't do as well as their white brothers. They may well have a different mindset.
Here in South Africa you find black people with good education and good jobs, driving smart cars and dressing in brand name clothing. While they are perfectly capable of going to any bank to secure a bond to buy a proper house, they prefer to live in informal settlements.
You will find them living in tin shacks, quite prepared to sit there for twenty years until goverment gives them substandard houses intended for the poor. They have a mindset that government must provide everything for free.
