I have watched a close friend and a parent die so, although not an expert, I am more aware of how harmful it is.

Took me a while to stop ,with hypnotherapy ,but I'm glad I did.

No I don't think you have understood what I was trying to get across.

The blogs and the Forums are great places to meet and participate in friendly banter,and I'm all for that.

What I ,and many others object to ,is the posters who deliberately come in to start a war.

The point I was trying to get across was that if we ignore them ,we are not feeding their egos.

That is rather different from not posting at all .

I try to put things in perspective and can see that there are those that have great respect for each other, and good solid friendships.

This is to all our credit that we care about each other, even on the internet.

However I still feel that by constantly replying to comments, however derogatory, causes more problems. People hate to be ignored,it foils their plan .
