Anyway, just want to share my last inspiration before my bedtime...
As they say "The Hunt is Sweeter than the Kill"...
How many people here would rather keep "chasing", or "hunting" than actually "being" in a committed relationship? In fact they are actually "killing" it before even catching it.
Come on Ladies and Gents, let´s hear your confessions, Father Pedal is all ears!
Woww... I only wish there were more Pedal guys around.
Then it just confirms my blog of yesterday about giving the Men some credit and learn to appreciate them more.
It also confirms the saying about "kissing many frogs.." I would be prepared to "kiss" 1,000..10,000..100,000 if I knew I would eventually find the one!
I had to think long and hard before answering that one..
Why, you may ask? Because the guy you´re talking about wasn´t worth it and the fact that I couldn´t remember about him is that I wasn´t particularly interested.
I of course have had other similar experiences but, to tell you the truth, I was never "mad" about it, only a bit disappointed that´s all! But, also grateful for the lessons that the guy in question wasn´t the guy whom I would want to spend the rest of my life with!
In other words, it was like a blessing in disguise! Halleluya!
Now, if I were actually having some "serious" relationship with someone here, in real life, the first thing I WOULD do is delete my profile! I wouldn´t even be here for the blogs.!
Now you understand why I prefer my 4 legged companions ? They are more loyal and NO I don't have to kiss frogs as I have them instead and they give me huge kisses
I've also lived my life to the full ..Many adventures and experiences gained along the way..knowledge and wisdom acquired and put to good used etc... Maybe there is still something missing in it ? And hope to find it before I pass ?? But I will certainly go with no regrets ..no resentment having forgiven all the ones I had to forgive . Maybe I will go where CCINCY goes ?
I don´t know about men and other women, but I do like my long hair and I am quite proud of it. It took years of maintenance, the right shampoos and conditioners and therefore my hair is in good condition it is quite thick. So I am not likely to cut it now just to make it more manageable!
As it happens, men seem to prefer women with long hair anyway as they can run their fingers through it.
I also like men with a pony tail. A bit "hippie" like.
I´d like to quote part of one of my favourite poems from Oriah Mountain Dreamer:
"It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself? If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul?. If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy?" .
