Ian, You just took the words out of my mouth. Yes, you´ve said it all!
I´m glad someone had the courage to say those things. And to you Aireen, You do have a good friend and adviser here, yes IAN is!
This "boyfriend" of yours is just an "illusion". Remember the dream? ummmmmm.... He just exists in your mind in order for you to make you feel secure and someone to fall back on. But, does he make you happy? NO! I´m sure there are many good men out there who would like to go out with you because you are a very attractive lady, but.... is there one in particular who can float your boat? You need someone near you, as you are a very physical person and all the fun you can have in discos or wherever is never going to replace all the love you need and what your heart is really crying for, or is it?
Mano/Harry how many times have I told you that you were welcome here ? Not only do I speak your language but I can also give you a guided tour at the Oktoberfest. Now if you want a German fraulein I could maybe help you with that too?
Of course I had picked up on the spelling mistake because I am a nit picker with native speakers but I didn't want to burst your bubble and add any more problems than you already have.
I was going to say to you Sola you might call it Murphy's law but I would call it the law of attraction. When we're happy and doing well we attract more of the same because of the positive energy we transmit . However if we transmit loneliness and desperation which are very low frequencies we'll attract the same or ...nothing !
Yes I could hussain, but I don´t think I should do this here?
If you need grammar lessons, maybe we should do this privately, what do you think? I mean on PM?
As you can see, I have just used "could", which is the conditional form of "can" - meaning "being able to". We also use can as a request, e.g. "can I help you"? or "can you please open the window"? But, asking "could you please open the window"?, is a more polite request.
Using "could" in a statement is meant more as a possibility ,e.g. "I could help you if you wish but... I don´t know if I can..."
May is for permission, e,g, "May I open the window"?
Maybe means Yes, or No. e.g. "Maybe I will come tomorrow, I am not sure"
Should means "ought to" or "must", e.g. "I think I should call my friend...", or for giving advice "You should look at your grammar books!"
Ok. Here are the answers you´re seeking. To be, is the infinitive of the verb. eg. to be or not to be... Also used with a future or conditional tenses: tomorrow I will BE here... or I would BE grateful if you could do me a favour...or it could be/maybe/might be...
Been: is used for a present perfect tense, eg- I have been here for ages... It´s been a long time...
Being: is the continuous form, eg. I am being very cautious... or, we are all being very helpful here...
Hope it helps? Don´t hesitate to contact me for further questions, ok?
No Cat, you need to have your daily dose of sun by going outdoors when the sun is shining!
I used to do sun gazing for a few months, a few minutes every day increasing 10 seconds each day until you reach 45 minutes maximum. I must admit, my energy level was a lot higher then and my appetite had also lowered.
However, I don´t know exactly how long people go in the sun in order to stop eating altogether???
RE: My Kind Of Date
I agree with Cali here . Ian really cares about you and you're too blind to see it!!!
