RE: Gods and Goddesses

Thanks for clearing that up Socrates. handshake

Some people always seems to be missing the point somehow - sometimes because of the language barrier, and other times because they just don´t want to see the written word and interpret it in their own way.dunno frustrated

How I understand it, your blog is to show how religious beliefs have been corrupting the world throughout millennia.

In which case, Snooky not being a "religious" person - and neither am I - she should then understand that you are in no way imposing your beliefs on anybody, but just point out some obvious facts.

RE: Gods and Goddesses

I think Snooky missed the point here. Socrates is talking about the inequality of the women across ancient civilizations and religions.

RE: Gods and Goddesses

Hi Socrates. I'm glad that my name is being mentioned here. hmmm

So you're saying here that men are still superior to women ?

RE: Sands, this one's for you...

Hiya girlie. Nice to see you back. We need some fun here !applause banana

Pity you live so far away. I like the Irish people and I'd love to go to Ireland.roll eyes

RE: When a lover becomes a brother

How strange you writing this blog when I was thinking the same about an ex.

As Serene says:
"I had a 4 year on/off, roller-coaster ride of a relationship with a man back in my early forties.
It was breathtaking, bewildering, exciting, maddening and intoxicating .. I was exhausted when I ended it."

In my case it was almost 3 years ago and our paths crossed again a couple of weeks ago.
Apparently he has just ended a platonic relationship and would like to make up with me but... I have moved on since my illness (after the break up) and my accident last year, and I don´t have the feelings and emotional attachment I had for him then.

However, as you say Sola, I feel now he is more like a brother who I can discuss and share things with and we happen to enjoy each other´s company - in small doses.

RE: Love turns to hate

Hola guapa! Hate is a very strong word and I have never hated people.scold

For me, Love may have turned to "Dislike" or even "Despise" at times, but never to hate, even if I had many reasons to hate that person, because I always forgive, accept and move on.wave

RE: If only Women were Men.

I have some men friends who do all those things you mention.banana

RE: Mailbox

Hola. Sometimes it's the approach? dunno

Women usually like to hear that you have read their profile and there's something special in it that attracted you in the first place...something you can resonate with ?

Anyway..I do and the first contact is the most important for me to want to respond.
I need something which can make me say wowww! ..I like that man!wink

RE: kid's

Crown. I think you missed my point altogether. confused

RE: 10 Rules For Men To Follow For A Happy Life

Well Jim you're being very greedy. I was only asking for 4 men in order to get it all in one.batting batting hmmm hmmm

RE: kid's

Yes Crown..why only women bloggers ?

Do you have any idea of what's going on when reading men's comments ?

Personally considering this is a dating site after all I wouldn't want to date any of the men bloggers here with the exception of a couple who happen to live too far away.sigh

RE: kid's

So do I Yamaha. thumbs up banana

RE: Keeping it real vs chameleons

I love chameleons. At least they get rid of the flies here.banana

They also make nice pets and you can carry them around on your shoulder. head banger

RE: A real love in a virtual world

Hola guapo. I agree with all the above.

I was in a LDR for 2 years and believe me it was just too frustrating. You build up hopes to meet..form some emotional attachments as you get to know each other more and more each day but it seldom gets any further than that.sigh

What's in the virtual world will stay there as it's all an illusion that your avatar has created. innocent

You ask what it takes to make it real? ..Guts!!
And money ...to meet as soon as you can.

Have you got all these Cariño?dunno

RE: Why oh why do you not talk....

And so do I! Then I send them a flower and say "Thank you for viewing my profile" and... voilà. dunno

RE: If not now, when?

Nice words of wisdom. But, how many people apply them to their life?

Sometimes it´s not until you nearly lose your life - as in my case - that you realise how precious it is.

I do not postpone things any longer as I don't know how much time I have left.

I do not take things for granted any longer but appreciate everything I have every minute of the day.

I do not work for money any longer but do voluntary work instead and the rewards I get are worth more than every cent in my bank account.

I love and give love as often as I can and it is always returned to me ten folds.

As for dancing and singing, I don´t care who is watching and listening.dancing

As for "Happiness", it is a state of mindonly!

Noone can make you happy and one shouldn´t be looking for outside but within. banana teddybear

RE: where you going for xmas ?

What´s happened to all your girlfriends? Have they all gone and left you?

I´m sure you could think of someone and fantasize? Just use your imagination.wink

RE: where you going for xmas ?

Ian!!! Have you relieved yourself already? dancing

I am staying here for Xmas as I have my little paradise here in the warmth and sunshine. dancing

RE: Huh.

Thanks for the compliment about the pic.
I took it today as someone wanted a recent one and a bit closer.
Now he wants to come even closer and meet me personally to see if I'm real.blushing
