track I think you need to work with your healthcare professionals...a combination of meds and therapy sounds logical...I am sure you are aware of the side effects of some medication and the need to follow up with the your GP to ensure your depression is managed without suffering too much from the side effects...good luck to you and hope you continue with your therapies!!

fly Trees provide more than shade or fruit...trees provide us with the natural ability to consume the bad air around us in exchange for oxygen...it is well worth it that city planners provide a green space or include trees into the development plans due to this gift trees bring...thanks for the post fly!!

I remember her on the Tonight Show...Johnny Carson made her famous...sad that he never spoke to her again after she got her own show...perhaps he didn't like the competition...
lind I cant live without my computer now...even courses are on-line now...not to mention movies and documentaries...and of course friends from CS...I do enjoy the blog site here...so although it may seem anti-social for others around me in real life...it is a great tool for seeking information...including keeping in touch with people far away...so life is good in that regard...but I do think people in general should get out more and exercise and be more physically active...

lind I was watching a documentary about an Iranian film maker with ties to a communist party in Iran...she had to flee the country and eventually was accepted into Sweden...her brother was imprisoned and eventually killed for his political views...it wasn't the Shaw who ordered the killings or imprisonment of these people...it was the Shaw's successor...at the time they were one of the many political protesters who wanted the removal of the Shaw...the documentary is called "My Stolen Revolution"...very interesting film...despite the modernisation and westernization of this country that the Shaw worked hard for...the people were unhappy with his rule...again mistakes were made by the Shaw...but the alternative was by far worse than the people expected...be careful what you wish for...
Seems to me the propaganda of hate towards Westerners started with religious extremists...why? Too many outside interests in gaining power and monetary control...zman is right I think by questioning the meddling of others' as a source of the problem...a seed was planted and flourished under these religious extremists...
In regards to the US president Obama...he inherited a massive debt and a war...not to mention the dire straights of the economy with the mortgage housing crash and increasing unemployment...I find it odd that many are not reminded of this...being the President in these times is not an easy task...and fixing the problems that he inherited will take time...JMO...
lind War is waged for gain...simple as that...no country would engage in warfare if there is nothing to prosper...propaganda is designed to keep its' citizens interested in continuing the struggle...meanwhile the strategy of the powers that be, are played down and hidden from the public...conflicts within countries such as Syria display the shear anger and distrust of the current government...
Seems to be a growing trend of people of this world is to stand up against and fight the establishment, where freedom is curtailed and people are held hostage to extremists views...trouble is (Iran as an example)...the Shaw wasn't perfect and perhaps the people of Iran didn't want to be Westernized as was the Shaw's agenda but his successor was a brutal reminder that people need to be cognisant of political parties that will lie to gain the approval of its citizens to obtain absolute power...
