john wallops is quite correct...we all need someone...I doubt any woman would throw it away for a minor disagreement...most people I know try to work on their relationships before coming to the conclusion that it is over...
john Your welcome...women are often judged by others...so it is good to state your independence...not a gold digger...or a clingy or needy individual...not to be mistaken by someone who will drop you like it's hot when things get a bit difficult...

simmo A white lie is an example of a way of not hurting a person's feelings...not a deliberate deception...not to be mistaken with the kind of lies that can hurt others...the motive is to lessen the pain...

lind Glad to hear from you...what an awful thing to happen...but we are all vulnerable...we all take chances and some decisions are bad ones but if we don't try...then we may never meet or become good friends...so although there may have been some red flags...we do need to try and trust as well...it is in the spirit of good things to come...
detective simmo Good to see you have some humour about it...we may never know why people lie to such a degree...as zman states...but it makes you wonder if that person has some mental defect and unable to relate to fellow humans emotionally...perhaps we all should be detectives to guard our feelings...
