lind I hate being in a rut...and I hate to be bored...it is good to sit and think for a while...many people who have seen their children grow up and leave are probably thinking what they can do for their community or other endeavors that relate to creating/making a difference...I am not there yet...no children but when I retire...I intend to start a project of some sort that could make a bit of a difference...giving back I guess but it also provides a sense of usefulness (for me) as well...
lind Your memories are with you...but it is still sad to see all those treasured mementos go...as for any regrets...I have a few but if I didn't experience any bad times...I would have never appreciated the good!!...I am now at the stage where I want to be in control of certain things in life...I do not like work at the moment...and willing to change direction...just in the stages of planning...should have done this years ago!!...you only have one life...so here I am making the best of it...or trying at least!!
