sunday Enjoyed this debate...regardlessm of peoples' point of view it seems that we share the need for love, commitment and for security (however you define it). For some, an arrangement such as common law (in some countries) does not make great financial sense and children do need to be considered. I think that if your religious convictions guide you toward marriage so be it but do not mistake in assuming that everyone shares your religion or your religious views...live and let live and let the laws reflect choice... I am sure Iam not alone in this way of thinking...
leah I know how you feel...female...living alone and up early...I don't know if having a gun or a license solves the issue of safety but if it makes you feel safe then you do what you feel is right...
sunday We all have our reasons not to make ammends in relationships...to many misunderstandings...mistakes or too many words like, I am sorry...it can be exhausting experience... simmo Kind words are not enough to rid me of the icicles that dwell in my veins...but thanks for your appology!!
leah Sounds like profiting from peoples' fears...not unlike the reason why people argue for the right to carry guns... I see no need for this app...nor guns...
sunday Read your email...lol... I like to give simmo a bad time!!... What would we do if we didn't make mistakes or have misunderstandings anyway...cheers!
sunday What an interesting topic!!... If a misunderstanding occured...I would try to fix it as soon as possible...but depends on the mood of the other...if that individual is still seething...upset...not a good idea to extend the olive branch until that person has a clear head sort to speak and able to listen!!
As far as simmo's remarks...I would have forgotten the original argument...his words bob and weave...make you forget what the argument is about...maybe that's his strategy!! cheers!
peony I agree with nice...if she had any value as a friend she would not take advantage of you...if she doesn't call, your free from her and then you can now enjoy true friendships!
cat I can relate to the possessions part of your blog...I am not as free as I used to be...have to work more to keep those possessions I have now...most of us are tied by a cord of circumstance in one way or another...have a good friday!!
guadal Human error is a factor in bad patient outcomes...whether it be long hours...increased workload...I find it usually tied with cost saving... Another factor needs to be clear...people live longer and more co-morbidities associated with patients...meaning people have more health problems that compound their hospital treatment or stay in the hospital. Treatments for those with healthcare...like Canada are not always given due to the expense...meaning a newer drug may be more suitable but not used due to the cost. Not to say patients will not be treated but given a cost effective drug or treatment. Another factor is getting the super bug (hospital aquired infection) while staying in the hospital...which could lead to death... Budget cut thanks to less healthcare dollars could be a factor...cleaning the hospital has been out-sourced (less money...less education)and/or sufferered from staff cutbacks. What I am saying is that there are more reasons for mishaps in hospitals and not just human error...if the death rate is substantial...it would be worthwhile to investigate the causes and correct it.
simmo Instead of throwing out the bowl...maybe you could amend the recipe a little by throwing the oven out the window as well...more time to drink and less to clean!!! cheers!!
