leah The US is a big country with many facets/faces besides Hollywood!!...I try to get the latest information on news programs but even these media sources can be skewed...as for people in general...never had a problem...and if I did...it would not because of their country...rather treat people on an individual basis...but love watching American movies...nothing wrong with a little escapism...pass the popcorn!!

mr Upsetting the balance is a problem...the lack of bees is going to be very problematic for us to feed the earth...so yes I get it...this delicate infrastructure in nature, a balance is needed to provide us with what we need to live...can you imagine...what we have been taking for granted for years...I am also concerned about flooding...seems more of it than what we are used to?...global warming due to pollution...or is it just a natural phenomenon?...
lind Working hard to save up...that would be fun...have a wedding this year to attend in Vegas...then hoping to have enough money put away for a trip...did not go to the philipines yet...when I was travelling, met up with a friend in Vietnam, she stayed in the philipines before meeting me...an island in the philipines...cannot remember the name but was beautiful according to her experience...

I think most places that have the death penalty believe that it is a deterant to bad behaviour but things are not equal or fair in life as we know it...so that being said, the death penalty should not permitted...imo...

lind Stores are now charging for plastic bags...many are giving the practice up and relying on cloth bags for items bought...a small step but I imagine the reduction of plastic can be beneficial if other countries do the same...is this a practice in California?
lind You are right...one planet says it all...we are all responsible...not just select countries...and such companies should put as much effort in the clean up to other areas and not get away with it because some countries lack policies in regards to environment...a global initiative...
fun Many countries now cannot sell banned substances to other countries with lax laws of polluting...governments of any nation that are wealthy enough should come to the aid of poorer countries to find solutions to end poverty or strategies to make life more breathable...more healthcare dollars spent on citizens if these pollutants are available...so it can make economical sense...however I see what you mean...but richer countries and companies should not exploit the poor...
lind Anyone can make a difference such as recycling or taking the bus, walking or car pool...city planners should encorporate environmental strategies as well...do we really need to drive to get from point A to B...or maybe more pressure on government to promote more environmental strategies or incentives in regards to transportation...however I can see the big oil industries having a problem with that...
