scouse Sorry to hear about your workmate's son inlaw. I probably would go to work than have to deal with the sadness as well...all you can do is try to be there for her as you've done.
iqs I have seen alot of people do this for their furry friends!!For many pets are part of their family... Growing up my dog had his own Xmas stocking and presents under the tree...he was also in the pictures we took around holidays! We cried when he died and had a funeral for him... Your dog looks cute in those booties!! Cheers!
pich I like your answer...not being jealous because our parents taught us to give up our used toys...I will remember that when I do see my ex with another girlfriend!! How selfless I am!! Cheers!
sunday Illegal aliens are the backbone of the U.S., in my opinion. I cannot imagine the government ridding these individuals anytime soon. U.S. like Canada needs people to continue to produce, we simply do not have enough people to work due to the aging population that is why illegal aliens have worked without much bother from the government for such a long time. What concerns me is the amount of middle classed Americans without healthcare!?? It seems strange to me that people (generalizing)in the U.S. are opposed to Obamacare...too socialist...?? It's odd that the U.S. is considered a top country but has a poor reportcard in healthcare for its own people. The gap between rich and poor and the disappearance of middle class...another issue but important to look at. It is also strange that government is also taking a hard line on these illegal immigrants who now have American children and grandchildren...where would they go? Hard times are here and will eventually go...My question is are we allowing illegal immigrants to be the scapegoat for corporate American companies who basically financially ruined the U.S.?
music You are right...I have trust with a few friends...and makes it easier to enjoy going out...don't go to clubs anymore...not as worried about some person putting substances in my drink...but I do know that people often think a female should be more careful...but what I say to those individuals is why are women subjected to this sort of thing in the first place??...just like travelling alone...they say she should know better...I am not saying be careless...but if this kind of thing happened to men...I think more would be done to curb crimes of this nature!!
I can't honestly remember if my parents gave me any sound advice except for this...don't listen to people who tell you you can't...thanks...mom and dad!!
music Sad but true...unfortunate that we have to think about safety when we are trying to have fun!!...I wonder if men actually understand this...fear...
cat food truck and eating at the chinese night market very cheap!!! Eating from the same peanut packet that are for the squirrels...well priceless...haha
andie I think life would be rather boring without the drama...I don't know if any couple has had a stress free existance! I would rather be challenged and have that drama than to live life blissfully unaware or bored to tears. That being said a breakup is one of the most painful events that can be experienced. You did some self reflection and fortunately, did not blame it all on the ex which sets you up for the next potential relationship without that baggage...anger...hostility. I hope you are well and good luck!!
Forgot to mention the obvious...refined or processed foods are more caloric, full of fats and sugars and salt which lends to obesity and other health problems....being poor has many challenges...
Just a thought...you can be obese but malnourished...the quality of our food counts...fresh produce is not as accessible (more expensive) to people as are foods that are highly processed or refined...so you can be financially challenged and obese.
non Many Canadian companies are being bought out by American companies...not to mention real estate prices skyrocketing due to foreign investment. Many cannot afford housing due to this. Cheaper goods are a result as far as manufacturing goes but for at a price. You have to look at the unemployment rate. Manufacturing in Canada as well as the USA are pretty much non existent...(high cost of labour) so no surprise if Jim Beam is no longer an American institution...sign of the times!!
