So......I did something I thought I would
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do!!!!! I mean, the idea never crossed my mind
I used to LAUGH at people that I saw do this....and Yet...Here I am 
Doing the very thing I laughed at others for doing..... 
I bought my dog a pair of BOOTS!!!
It's been really cold here and his feet get so cold he can barely make it to the door from the yard and he's too heavy for me to carry!! They look good on him though, don't they???

Good to see you again.
Last night, one of my dogs was acting kinda crazy.. must have been the full moon, cause she was acting LIKE AN ANIMAL!
Anyways, she got loose and got lost during the night, and this morning she brought me a pair of nice shoes, exactly my size too. I never thought she'd do this for me.. it just never crossed my mind. lol. Oh well.

It's a great idea the foot booties for a dog in cold weather , I think , but is it a real need , I wonder if a dogs feet are not built to withstand the cold in such a way . I do not know of course .
I was once stopped by an angry woman on the street as I walked my dog on a hot pavement , she said don't you know the feet of your dog are burning ? No I did not know that . So what should I do , walk her in a pram ? I asked the vet about it and he told me that dogs have much hardier feet pads than humans. Is that true? I don't know. But I became very conscious of where I took my dog for walkies after that and always carried her if the pavement was hot. I think if I was in a very cold place I'd do what you are doing with the dog booties, it's a shame they cannot tell us what they really feel.
I have seen alot of people do this for their furry friends!!For many pets are part of their family...
Growing up my dog had his own Xmas stocking and presents under the tree...he was also in the pictures we took around holidays!
We cried when he died and had a funeral for him...
