Hello LGS wave
Dogs feel the cold just like us so thats being a good friend.wave grin bouquet
Callie.... wave Now that you're closer to My neck of the woods.....remember the other week when wind chills got so low? They were like 30 below zero here and he couldn't go out for more than like 1 minute. Which, for him, isn't NEAR long enough to find the "perfect" spot.....I ended up having to put socks on his feet for him to finally ....well, you know. Felt so bad for him. He doesn't seem to mind them at all, although, he "marches" when he walks... giggle giggle giggle
HI lGS...Maybe you will start a bit of a craze eh!laugh
Non....but his balance is GREAT!!! laugh laugh I noticed that too.....he really DOES have 4 legs!!
Ravensgold... hug Glad to see you! I'm finding that more people do this than will admit to it... giggle giggle giggle

RG....Ummmmmm, I think we'll try the turtleneck and sweater vest first.... grin grin
wave lgs: Naw! Shame On You! . . Why not just get house shoes, for the poor child. And put a doghouse out there too. With a heated floor. " Im Just Saying "
Angel wave He's an indoor dog so the pads of his feet are very sensitive. They haven't been callused from being in the elements. I really think the cold hurts him.....
scold Lgs: Oh! My Bad Again! What about this! Trade him in, for an outdoors dog. What? They are cheaper, use to being cold. And have a house outside to theirself. "Hey! Im just saying. Ps: Dont tell your dog that, i said that!. . .rolling on the floor laughing
lol lgs, we have an English Bulldog here and he frequently has to wear a sweater! It is cold about 20 degrees right now....in east Tennessee...ice trees falling over.......brrr! I feel bad for all the short haired dogs that people keep outside!!uh oh

OOooohhhhh! She is sooo cute!!!Make sure you feed her corn free dog food! Bulldogs don't do good with corn.......
She gets grain free..(no corn, wheat or soy) high protein puppy formula. That's what I feed Tucker too (boxer/greyhound mix)and he's 4 yrs. old.
Ours does good with chicken and yam.....
Chicken and yam? Sounds good....
Hi there LGS37,

Good to see you again.

Last night, one of my dogs was acting kinda crazy.. must have been the full moon, cause she was acting LIKE AN ANIMAL! help

Anyways, she got loose and got lost during the night, and this morning she brought me a pair of nice shoes, exactly my size too. I never thought she'd do this for me.. it just never crossed my mind. lol. Oh well. grin

Just joking with you. laugh

I wish you a fun night and day! hug
It's interesting that we as humans can love our pets so much emotionally , but sometimes don't think of what their real needs can be.
It's a great idea the foot booties for a dog in cold weather , I think , but is it a real need , I wonder if a dogs feet are not built to withstand the cold in such a way . I do not know of course .
I was once stopped by an angry woman on the street as I walked my dog on a hot pavement , she said don't you know the feet of your dog are burning ? No I did not know that . So what should I do , walk her in a pram ? I asked the vet about it and he told me that dogs have much hardier feet pads than humans. Is that true? I don't know. But I became very conscious of where I took my dog for walkies after that and always carried her if the pavement was hot. I think if I was in a very cold place I'd do what you are doing with the dog booties, it's a shame they cannot tell us what they really feel.

I have seen alot of people do this for their furry friends!!For many pets are part of their family...
Growing up my dog had his own Xmas stocking and presents under the tree...he was also in the pictures we took around holidays!
We cried when he died and had a funeral for him...
Your dog looks cute in those booties!! Cheers!
I have a friend that has 5 dogs and she has a good cream, a paw ointment to put on. She is very happy for it and she likes it. It is made of much herbal ingredients. She has it for sale too, but might be a bit expensive to get one sent to you I guess? I think your dog looks great with the shoes... poor guy!hug teddybear
robrt... hug Good to see you, happy you stopped by!! If you would, please ask your dog, if, on his next shopping excursion, he would pick me up a pair! Size 8, something with a heel, if you please grin grin
Nicefeet... handshake If he were an outside dog, it would be a bit "over the top" and silly...I agree. However, he is an inside dog and always has been, so the pads of his feet (IMO) haven't been toughened up. I guess, when I let him out and he started to limp (from the cold) he was, again IMO, telling me he hurt. I think animals, sometimes, CAN tell us what they want/need. When he needs to go out, he goes to the door or barks; When he gets hurt, he "yips". People don't always speak their needs either, however, if we are observant and empathetic, we can usually figure it out.... wine IMO
scouse!! How have you been?? Yes, SOME of you men will be truthful......unfortunately, some of you will let us prance around in public in things we ought not be seen in!! I'd MUCH rather have my feelings hurt....for a minute.... hug
Welela... wave I'll have to look into that ointment. Do you know the name of it?
