What exactly did we all do...................
What exactly did we all do before blogging or email or gaming or the "world wide web"??Did we sit around being "bored"?
Were we less informed? Would that be a bad thing??
Were we less educated?
Going to the library to do papers for school entailed getting there; knowing how to use a card index; writing things out long hand....
Was there just as much badness in the world THEN? Maybe there was, but we didn't hear about as quickly...
I know, I like the convenience of the internet, and scanners, and email and digital cameras and cell phones.....but I remember my life without these things and it wasn't bad. My grandchildren kind of look at me with wonder....."You didn't have cell phones MeeMaw? How did you talk to anybody?"
Yes, we have plenty of conveniences now.....but is life better??

Gorilla Glue...THAT should keep the stamps on your screen!!!
Don't get me wrong....technology is good IN CONJUNCTION with the real world. It just shouldn't be EXCLUSIVELY the way we interact with one another.... JMO
They get very angry, cause they are farmer type, production people, they dont like art, creativity, that sort of thing.
they used too labourers and people that jump, when they say jump and kill foxes or any animal that comes near their sheep, crop etc.
not nature type people. they dont have time for them.
they call the cops and throw them in the van and criminalise them.

I fully understand what you are getting at.I didn't have a computer until after I had married my late husband in 1980.
For a long time I would have nothing to do with a computer.I always wrote my letters long hand cause to me signing them by hand seemed so much more personal that way.
THEN!! I got old and I like to sit and talk to my CS buddies. It's a lot cleaner and safer. More so than those who think of us as loafers!
