cat My great aunt and uncle were much like that...he passed away and she was so upset over his death...she died 6 months later...during those 6 months she totally lost the plot so to speak...she truly missed him...and clearly lost the will to live...
rich Altruism is an act without selfishness...saying that even when we give back without accolades...we still feel the benefits...it is a win win situation...it is all about feeling!!
rich It is really not about the impact as you say but the feeling of doing something...no metals or rewards for efforts needed...it is about a desire once you reach a certain age or compulsion to give back...regardless of the smallness of your efforts...
