freedom I have no opinion who has better blogs...male or female or what topic I like the most...I comment when I feel I have something to say or just read...either way...I find most blogs entertaining...
cat Just nice to know you have an understanding and not animosity at the end of the day...things may be different than before but better when you left it! Cheers!
nakit Well said...whether the loss of contact is out of embarrassment...a brother thing...protective in nature...I applaud this meeting...sounds like they could forgive the past problems and rekindle their friendship!
cyn I have always liked your honesty...and yes some men are not true...but I feel that sara's situation is different...but that is for me not to judge...
Marriage for some is a comfort and means of protection...and while I have no financial worries...and no children...I have no concerns about finding a man for financial gain or protection...children would be the main concern...ensuring their wellness...I am far past that for worrying...but understand a young woman's need for security...and that protection...
sara Anything is possible...Tina Turner just said yes (marriage) to her partner of 20+ years...she was 73 years old at the time...he tried to marry her before but she was still damaged from her first marriage to Ike...then she thought of him and what he means to her in regards to love, having an opinion in matters of life events...legal stuff...and also putting her past issues behind her...
virgo I your thinking could be correct but for now it is not where his head is at...either accept it or not...to live a life with no compromise could be tough...only she knows her truth...
sara You know him the best...perhaps you needed other opinions...but from what you say...there is no secret relationship...he is not hiding your relationship from his family or friends...you sound like you already have the answer to his angst...in time he may change his mind...get rid of past hurts and marry you after all...but for now he told you his truth and you have to live with it or not...
The question is if you believe in marriage...and he doesn't...perhaps it is not wise to waste your time...as for my arrangement...in Canada legally, I was protected...common-law is recognised like marriage...in your country that may not be the case...so I guess it depends on your situation...
sara I enjoyed a relationship...common-law with an individual for over 12 years...I do not believe marriage works for everybody...it does not mean that they are not commited to a long term relationship...I am proof of that...however, in fairness to you that person should give you more of an explanation to help you understand his position.
calli Reminds me how I had to talk on the phone to order food for take out...no one could understand my then spouse's Kiwi accent...too funny...he needed to get his Canasian on...lol...
smart Try to see if you can up load the photos...would love to see them...better to look similar...better price for goods...when I travelled to south east asia, did not get the best deal...blond with green eyes...lol...
cat So that's what happened!!...after all those years...I am sure it's water under the bridge sort to speak!! Good luck and enjoy your visit...life is too short to hold grudges anyway...
yett Yes, love is a small but powerful word...not to be used frequently...without thought...saved for a special person or people...an emotion that is hard to describe but can be seen in our actions towards others!!
