The end of friendship with the lady
I am patient when I deal with female friends. So the same girl who likes me to pay the bill. she loves to tell me she knows lots of big people. As it is not easy to find a good female friends, I will pay small food bills when we are together. Several days before, she mysteriously told me that there would be an important Energy show in Abu Dhabi.And some elites will turn up there. After my maintainance company fixed my water pipe, I don't have much to do. So I went to the show with her everyday in her Benz car. Well, she said, look , how many elite people turn up in the show.I haven't told her, I had always been the one who was in charge of our company shows in Beijing, and my name was always printed on the show index book for several years. Shows to me is just nothing much!Not to mention, after our company show, we would have business dinner almost every night. It was very exhausting. I have to work long hours, as I need meet with clients who will talk about orders. Sometimes, I was so tired that I don't want to eat the expensive food at all.
She would eat the food in the show, which I would always prepare for breakfast for us both, which means I need go to supermarket and buying all these food. I usually would buy Tuna fish sandwich, or sashimi sandwiches and 2 bottles of milk. one day before the show, even i bought all these breakfast, she insisted on buying some vegetable and fried rice for her as an extra. I did. And the next day, which was the 3rd day show, I lost interest in the show, but she need me to tell her the road to drive to the show, in fact,everyday I need tell her the road to the show. Because she recently relocated to Abu Dhabi. I have been in the city since 2011 on and off.
when the 3rd day show finished, which was the end, we drove back from the show. She said," today how about we have some chinese food in a restaurant or we can go to the pizzahut?" She asked me so many times,so I said, I have been in charge of our company's show for several years,and this show is just the same. Well, I have waited for you today so long time doing nothing, I am tired of going out. If you want to go to any restaurant, please drop me at Al Wahda mall.
But her real intention is to ask me to pay this bigger food bill. Since that day, no phone call from her cos I refused to pay her food bill.

If she goes to a super market and buy the material, it will never cost as much. I now realize, she only has that Benz car to show off, and she could not afford the food even. As she need food anyway, so it is important for the friends to pay all the bill in the restaurants.
Since I am not useful, so she need look for someone else. I don't want this kind of friends also.

I don't like to give up friendship if I see a some bad points of a person.But once I find out the major part,then it is time for me to walk away from this kind of mean people.

I know it might be' in your culture to pay for someone as a gesture of friendship in the beginning . So being taken advantage of can occur easily like this. But you need to be' aware of tricks some people will play.

I agree with nice...if she had any value as a friend she would not take advantage of you...if she doesn't call, your free from her and then you can now enjoy true friendships!
Anyway for this kind of friends,I don't regret that we break up our friendship! I am happy to pay my own share.
