There was a mention of Calamity Jane & that got me going on one of my notorious rambles.

That one specifically noted some oddities between Calamity & Wife & Butler Hickok & myself.

Which raised the "out there" prospect that we might've been transmigrated souls of Calamity & Wild Bill.

As I recall, Jane had it bad for Bill & claimed to have had a kid by him -- which is questionable.


Taking the "out there" speculation to the next level (& generation) -- my Ginger Daughter being the century postponed love child of reincarnated Butler Hickok & Calamity Jane would explain a Helluva lot 'bout the temperament of my li'l girl, lemme tell ya!

Guns @ country auctions are insane.
They don't even have to be old & rusty to get a crazy price -- as if THAT makes any sense?!

I've seen bids like Double the price of an exact same New gun.
I've been tempted to tell the auctioneer to drag things out 'til I can get to town & buy out the LGS (local gun shop).
He could sell 'em for scalper prices & we'd Both be rolling in shekels
