He met her, offered to take her fishing and promised he'd do the ishy stuff like bait her hook & handle the fish ...
Daughter (who'd grown up along the Mississippi River & knew more 'bout fishing than St. Peter) ... "Oh! You'd do that for ME? Really? Fishing sounds like Fun!"

Her High School had the Weight Board on the basketball court wall that listed the men & women who'd lifted a specified weight for each gender.
Daughter was the 1st (and for several years the Only) person on the Women's side of the board.

When she was in middle school, she'd show off by giving Me piggy-back rides.
A few guys have tried to give her grief - It ended poorly for 'em.

She slugged Me once when she was still in grade school - Impressive right cross, lemme tell ya!
